- Havva Halaceli was born in Adana, Turkey. After completing her MFA in Textile Design at Dokuz Eylul University in 2005, she started her PhA in Textile Design at Dokuz Eylul University, department of Textile and Fashion Design. She accomplished Fulbright Scholarship in 2007, and she worked as a visiting researcher at Purdue University in the Woven Textile Design and Fiber Art Department between the dates of August 2007- May 2008 in USA. Meanwhile, she took various courses such as installation, critique of design, textile dyeing class, history of design and graduate textiles. She had her works exhibited in various textile and art shows while she was in US. Currently she is an assistant professor at Cukurova University, Department of Textile and Fashion Design.
